MICHAEL TAYLOR Great Britain's Michael Taylor is a lower-leg amputee in the PTS4 class who took his triathlon inspiration from the sport's Paralympic debut at Rio 2016 all the way to the Tokyo 2020 start line. Adapting quickly to the specific stresses and strains of using a prothesis on his left leg with a special running blade and now shares his coach Rhys Davey with 2018 Women's World Champion Vicky Holland. After winning silvers in Alanya, WTPS Yokohama and WTPS Leeds, Taylor finally topped the podium at the Para World Cup A Coruna in June, sealing his Tokyo qualification in style.
