JAMIE BROWN The USA's Jamie Brown has lived with a prosthetic from a very young age after he was born missing his right fibula and his parents decided to amputate his leg to give him the best chance of living a normal, active life. He has done that and more, excelling at many sports before falling in love with triathlon and starting his career in 2010. By 2014 he was the fastest leg amputee at the World Championships and had soon set his sights on the Paralympic Games. Victory at the 2017 WPS Yokohama kick-started a string of podiums, one that he will be looking to continue in Tokyo.
