2023 Highlights National Federation Services – 150: A record number of members are in good standing with World Triathlon, fulfilling annual membership requirements: – NF Affiliation Documents Review; – Successful bi-monthly National Federation Open Hours continued; – Good Governance Benchmarking; – Safeguarding: three new educational modules launched for all stakeholders. Team World Triathlon – Four World Cup Events: Huatulco, Tangier, Brasilia, Tongyeong; – 23 athletes representing five continents and fourteen national federations – Olympic Qualification Pathways; – Incredible results and improvements. Coaches Education – Korea Triathlon - World Triathlon Coaches Education programme returned to face-to-face delivery in the capital city of Seoul; – Rest & Recovery CPD Course - First-ever pay- based education for all; – WISH (Women in Sport High-Performance Pathway) Programme; – Triathlon Brasil joined the Coach Education Partnership Programme (CEPP). Athlete Education – Launch of four new continental development camp curriculum documents; – Education Hub Content; – Testing & Benchmarking; – Athlete Scholarships (10). Technical Officials Education – Gender balance 50%-50% in Technical Officials assignments for all major and regional games; – USA Triathlon joined the Accredited Technical Officials Education Programme (ATOEP). Para triathlon – Para coach education curriculum; – Para classifier online revalidation in place; – 10% of the Continental Development Grants to be spent on Para; – Para Triathlete Support Grant (9). Facilitator Education – 21 newly trained coach, TO and Para Classifier facilitators. Development Regional Cups – Complex regional development approach: athlete, coach, technical officials and event development; – World Triathlon Ranking Points.
