The late summer conditions were ideal in Pontevedra back in September as the crowds came out in force for the 2023 World Triathlon Para Championships. The course presented an altogether tougher challenge, the 750m swim transitioning to 20km bike with long climb and numerous speed bumps before three laps of an occasionally narrow run course to the tape, but the athletes delivered outstanding action across all six categories.
