Australia dominated the 2023 Oceania Triathlon Championships in Port Douglas, Australia, with the host country sweeping the men's podium and earning two medals in the women's race back in May. It was the emerging talent Bradley Course who claimed the men's victory, once again demonstrating that he can be the one to beat when it comes to hard and fast standard distance racing, the only man to go sub-30 minutes for his 10km to the tape. Course was joined on the podium by compatriots Oscar Dart and Luke Willian as they held off the New Zealand charge behind. The women's race saw New Zealand's Nicole Van Der Kaay become the only athlete able to break the Aussie domination to secure the victory with a scintillating solo run to the gold. She had been followed all the way by Jaz Hedgeland only to eventually pull clear over the closing stages of the 10km, Charlotte Derbyshire showing why she is such an exciting prospect for Australia with the bronze. 27 May 2023 Port Douglas, Australia - Elite Men 217 Men Full Results Women Full Results contents
