Together with the Edmonton Triathlon local organizing committee and Triathlon Canada, Edmonton
Events is pleased to support Edmonton's official bid to host the 2019 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final.
Our city has over 20 years of experience in hosting successful triathlon events, which include World
Cups, Continental Cups, World Triathlon Series as well as the Grand Final. Furthermore, with our
commitment to developing the sport of triathlon globally, in 2017 we will be hosting the ITU Science and
Triathlon Conference where we will bring together athletes, coaches, educators and leaders in the sport.
Our past experience hosting the 2014 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final was an incredible one, and the
Edmonton event was named the "International Event of the Year" by the Canadian Sport Tourism
Alliance. With our proven track record for hosting world-class sporting events, Edmonton Events and the
Edmonton local organizing committee are dedicated to ensuring that 2019 is even better.
We are excited about the opportunity to once again welcome the triathlon world to Edmonton and
demonstrate what our beautiful city has to offer. Thank you for considering Edmonton as a host city for
