LOCAL PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Edmonton Transit System is a fully
integrated, progressive, easy-to-use
public transit system that supports
economic development and improves
the quality of life in Edmonton.
Edmonton Transit System (ETS) is wholly
owned and operated by the City of
Edmonton and provides 80.2 million rides
annually. Edmonton's Light Rail transit
(LRT) provides fast and convenient
service for passengers travelling to or
from the city's Northeast, Downtown,
Government Centre, University Campus
and South areas of the city.
EVENT SHUTTLE SERVICE
Complimentary Public Hawrelak Park Race
Venue Shuttles
There are two shuttle circuits running to and
from Hawrelak Park available free of charge to
all athletes and spectators during race week.
The shuttles offer a looping service between
the park and designated locations close to
transportation services.
CAR RENTAL SERVICES
Edmonton International Airport is served
by all the major car rental companies, making it
quick and convenient for participants flying into
the city to rent vehicles for the duration of the
event. The LOC will negotiate with a preferred
supplier to achieve the best rates possible.
