VIP HOSTING & ITU CONGRESS
• The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald will be
the designated ITU host hotel and ITU
Congress Venue.
• All accommodation requested in the ITU
LOC requirements will be provided.
• The Royal Suite will be negotiated for the
exclusive use of the ITU President.
• A Welcome VIP Reception will be co-hosted
by Triathlon Canada and the Edmonton LOC.
• VIP airport transportation system will be
coordinated for the ITU Executive board, ITU
staff and all Congress delegates.
• VIP transportation from Host Hotel to
Competition Venue will be provided for
the ITU Executive board, ITU staff and
all Congress delegates on all days of
competition.
• VIP venue accreditation will be provided
to Congress delegates.
• Congress delegates will be provided
with tickets to the Official Opening
Ceremony and Athlete Dinner at the Shaw
Conference Centre.
• Congress delegates will be provided with
tickets to the Official Closing Ceremony and
Banquet at the Shaw Conference Centre.
• Congress gift will be provided to all
delegates and guests.
The Shaw Conference Centre will host:
• All continental confederation meetings
• All ITU committee meetings
• ITU Congress
• Simultaneous translation, internet services
and business services will be provided
