THE ICE DISTRICT. Canada's largest mixed-use sports and entertainment district is
taking shape in the heart of Edmonton. A dream nearly a decade in the making, ICE
District's development is fueled by the optimism of what Edmonton can be – a
destination for people from all corners of the city, the country and the world.
Twenty-five acres are currently under construction in the heart of Edmonton's growing
downtown, with the new state of the art Rogers Place arena to be completed in the fall
of 2016. It's a place to meet, a place to celebrate, and a place our visitors will never forget.
