3. Sound financial planning
The budget proposed for the Lausanne 2019 Grand Final has been carefully developed with
the Bid Committee, representatives from the City of Lausanne and the Canton of Vaud. It
amounts to a little under 4.7 million CHF (4.67 million USD) and is a balanced budget.
It guarantees a flawless organisation, placing the emphasis on promotion for the event, the
hosting of delegations, the organisation of the competitions and an ambitious ITU festival
programme.
