9. Highest services in media planning The Main Media Centre will be located at "Place de Bellerive" or at the Beau Rivage Palace according the ITU Media Delegate preferences. The Media Center will in any case be set up next to the finish area and Lausanne 2019 will work in collaboration with the city of Lausan- ne to facilitate any access that the media should be granted. Lausanne 2019 will benefit from the long experience in hosting international sport events from the State of Vaud and the city of Lausanne to set up the most professional Media Center possible. It will be equipped with all the latest technologies that could be needed to cover an event like the Triathlon. Lausanne will partner with the Swiss national TV broadcaster, Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS), to cover the full event and for the live production. The RTS covers a wide range of live international sport events every year and has therefore a strong experience in producing live TV production for events such as the Triathlon Grand Final. They are involved in the live TV production of major cycling events in Switzerland and they also cover the Swiss national triathlon championship. The organising committee will work closely with the ITU Media Delegate to coordinate and approve the plans for the media facilities. The ITU Media Delegate will be fully involved in the planning process of all the media activities and the overall strategy regarding the media. The proximity of the ITU host hotel will facilitate the logistics organisation. The media main room can be located in the Beau-Rivage hotel which is only a few meters away from the fi- nish area. Furthermore, the "Place de Bellerive" offers enough space to stock any necessary materials and the trucks can easily stay there for the whole duration of the event. The organising committee and its partners will put in place a media activation plan. As it is done for every major sport events in Lausanne, a set amount of journalists will be invited to take part in the event and the organising committee will do all they can to facilitate their travel organisation and their stay here in Lausanne. Further details will be discussed with the ITU Media Delegate during the organising phase.
