BOARD & COMMITTEES // 22 Heather Barnhouse Legal Services Heather Barnhouse is a corporate lawyer with deep roots in Edmonton. She is a partner with the international law firm of Dentons. She joined the board to give back to the community in which she has been raised. She has a passion for excellence, as is demonstrated in the sport of triathlon. Tom Ruth Director at Large Tom Ruth is President and CEO of Edmonton International Airport (EIA), Canada's fastest growing major airport. Tom leads the business strategy for EIA focusing on aviation and commercial development as cornerstones to airport and regional economic growth. He is past Chair of the Canadian Airports Council and is one of Canada's representatives on the Airports Council International World Governing Board. He provides the Board with his airline and cargo logistics experience to benefit the LOC. Greg Michetti Director at Large Greg Michetti is founder and President of Michetti Information Solutions, Inc. a systems integration firm and Microsoft partner that started in 1991. Greg is Vice Chairman of the Computer Network Advisory Board at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and is Vice Chairman and member of the Board of Advisors of the Edmonton and Area YMCA. Greg has completed 35 marathons and feels that his running experience combined with volunteer work at the YMCA provides meaningful input to the ITU and is an excellent way to give back to the local community. Reg Milley Director at Large Reg has served more than 20 years as an oil industry executive and 15 years as an aviation industry President and CEO. Reg believes that events are a critical pillar in Edmonton's strategy to develop our society, and to improve the quality of lives of our citizens. Sporting events such as the ITU provide a great venue for us to showcase Edmonton's many attributes to global decision makers that can help attract investment, boost our economy and economic development opportunities and potentially attract new residents to our great city.
