sport by recognising and supporting global coach education, mentoring and athlete development programmes. The primary objective of ASICS World Triathlon Team remains at providing support, resources and expertise to athletes from emerging and developing National Federations. Due to the pandemic's impact on the 2020 race schedule, on-site activities for the team could not take place, with support and communication maintained online and by telephone with all the athletes and coaches involved. World Triathlon is as committed as ever to supporting the development of the sport worldwide and seeks to meet these goals through strong relationships with Continental Confederation and National Federation members, working with its partners to offer a balanced sport development programme from grassroots to a high performance level. Elsewhere, more than 115 triathletes and 35 coaches from South American countries including Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Paraguay, Cuba, Uruguay, Venezuela and Costa Rica, attended the first PATCO Development activity. 114 contents
