World Triathlon continues successful Technical
Officials Education Program in 2020
Following the annual review of World Triathlon
Technical Officials, the new certification lists
show encouraging global distribution, with
more than 2,200 World Triathlon certified
Technical Officials represented today across
115 National Federations.
The numbers have continued to see a solid
increase across all three Technical Official levels,
and more than 10% of all certified officials are
women, with the gender split improving from
32% in 2019 to 34% in 2020.
Despite the inevitable impact of the pandemic
on the holding of courses and assessment this
year, the annual review showed that the Technical
Officials Educational Program was still a success
across 2020.
