MOOLOOLABA WORLD CUP
Holland firing in 2020
opener as Sissons goes
out in glory
A thrilling sprint finish in Queensland saw
kiwi Ryan Sissons storm across the finish
line to take the tape narrowly ahead of
compatriot Hayden Wilde and earn the first
gold medal of the 2020 World Cup in style,
Luke Willian (AUS) with bronze.
In the women's race, gold for GB's Vicky
Holland got her year off to a strong start,
fellow team member Georgia Taylor-Brown
taking the silver in her first race experience
in Mooloolaba ahead of fan favourite
Ashleigh Gentle (AUS).
