ATHLETES' BIOS - WOMEN CHI BARBARA RIVEROS Barbara Riveros is a trail-blazer for Chilean triathlon, competing at the highest level for the past 15 years and scoring a first Series gold in Sydney in 2010. Now heading to her fourth Olympic Games, it was at Rio 2016 that the 33-year-old produced her best performance to date, finishing just off the medals in fifth place. The Pan American Games champion in 2015, Riveros' career has been typified by technically powerful performances on the bike and rapid run splits.
