ATHLETES' BIOS - MEN NED MARCO VAN DER STEL Marco van der Stel has over a decade of experience on the elite circuit, and made his World Championship debut for the Dutch Mixed Relay squad in 2013. A naturally talented swimmer, a first Series top 20 came in Leeds in 2016 and a year later he was sharing the podium with his teammates after a superb Mixed Relay World Championship bronze in Hamburg. The 29-year- old makes his Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020.
