ATHLETES' BIOS - WOMEN NED RACHEL KLAMER Netherlands' Rachel Klamer placed third at the Junior World Championships back in 2009 and now heads to Tokyo for her third Olympic Games. In 2015, she won the silver medal in the women's triathlon event of the inaugural European Games in Baku. Since then, 30-year-old Klamer has had a number of major results at the highest level, including victory at World Triathlon Championships Series Abu Dhabi, fourth in the 2019 World Triathlon Series Championship Hamburg and another fourth place in the Championship Finals in Lausanne.
