ATHLETES' BIOS - MEN GBR ALEX YEE Alex Yee's first World Triathlon Cup appearance saw him suffer a horrible bike accident that took him out of the sport for 12 months. Returning to the same Cagliari course a year later in 2018, he finished in the top 10, landing a first podium in Weihai in 2018 and winning the first race of the year in Cape Town in 2019. Within a month he won WTCS Abu Dhabi silver on his debut in the top tier, going on to win WTCS Leeds this year to secure his place on the GBR team. One of the fastest triathletes over 5km and 10km, and a valuable member of GB's Mixed Relay squad.
