ATHLETES' BIOS - MEN MEX IRVING PEREZ After making his World Triathlon Cup debut back in 2005, at 35 years old Mexico's Irving Perez is the second oldest man on the Tokyo 2020 start list. A first podium came in Huatulco in 2013, and he has since gone on to win Pan-American Games bronze in 2015 and World Triathlon Cup gold two years later. After finishing 22nd at Rio 2016, Perez will be able to tackle Tokyo 2020 with precious previous-Games experience.
