ATHLETES' BIOS - MEN ESP MARIO MOLA After finishing second to compatriot Javier Gomez in the 2014 and 2015 world championship chase, Mario Mola finally took the top spot in 2016, the first of three consecutive world titles. The 31-year-old dominated the sport for three years, donning his signature white visor before invariably crushing the run as he hoovered up an incredible 27 World Triathlon Series medals since 2015. Undoubtedly a contender for an as-yet elusive Olympic medal if well-placed off the bike.
