ATHLETES' BIOS - WOMEN NZL NICOLE VAN DER KAAY 2018 saw Nicole Van Der Kaay's best run of results, including a fourth-place finish in the World Triathlon Championships Series Finals on the Gold Coast and podiums at several other World Triathlon events on the circuit. Securing a 2018 Commonwealth Games podium with bronze in the Mixed Team Relay event, the 25-year-old also placed seventh in the individual race, the top New Zealand female finisher. Although it's been nearly two-years since racing internationally, she is proud to be representing at her first Olympic Games and the biggest race of her career.
