ATHLETES' BIOS - WOMEN UKR YULIYA YELISTRATOVA Yuliya Yelistratova is the most decorated and experienced Ukrainian triathlete and Tokyo will be her third Olympic Games. In 2004 she placed 9th at the European Cup in Alanya and in her elite debut, at the age of 15, she effortlessly achieved a top-ten position among the world's elite athletes. Since then she has continuously won medals in numerous international events. In 2009, she won the European U23 Championships in Tarzo Revine. She went on to win a a gold medal at the 2016 Karlovy Vary ETU Triathlon Premium European Cup and compete in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. In 2020 she earned the gold medal in the 2021 Europe Triathlon Cup Dnipro and will line up in Tokyo 2020 looking to improve on her 38th place from Rio 2016.
