SATORU YONOEKA KOHEI TSUBAKI (GUIDE) Japan's Satoru Yonoeka was 18 when he made his first para triathlon start line in Yokohama. One year later he was back at the same venue and racing against the likes of Great Britain's Dave Ellis, working on developing his swim to be less reliant on one of the fastest runs on the circuit. Now aged 26, Yonoeka has realised his dream of reaching the Tokyo 2020 start line after winning the visually impaired race at the Asia Triathlon Championships in Hatsukaichi in April and finished just off the podium in 4th at this year's WTPS Yokohama.
