GEORGE PEASGOOD George Peasgood hails from a strong triathlon family and in 2013 became the youngest ever medallist at the World Triathlon Para Championships, winning bronze at the age of just 17. One of the few athletes in the PS5 category with a lower-body impairment, George suffered a major trauma to his foot as a small boy and while he is therefore usually among the fastest in the swim, it is on the run that his race can really be decided. In this year's season opener in Yokohama, the Brit was able to hold off Martin Schulz to win his first Series gold in three years.
