RONAN CORDEIRO Ronan Cordeiro realised his dream of making it onto the Tokyo 2020 start list via the bipartite invitation system after powering to the podium in his first four World Triathlon races: Funchal, Alhandra, Yokohama and A Coruna. Born without full fingers on his left hand, Cordeiro first took up swimming and football before discovering triathlon. In 2019 he was named the Brazilian University Para Athlete of the year and has podium'd in all three Para World Cup he has competed in to date.
