YANNICK BOURSEAUX Yannick Borseaux has been one of the great figures of para triathlon over the past ten years. A promising young triathlete from the age of 14 who had his first World Triathlon (then ITU) race in 1992, he suffered a bike accident in 2004 that paralysed his right arm. Moving to cross country skiing to realise his Paralympic dreams, he competed at the 2006 and 2010 Winter Games before triathlon was added to the Paralympic programme and he returned to the world of swim-bike-run with Rio 2016 in his sights. After narrowly missing the podium on that day, Borseaux heads to Tokyo at the age of 46 looking to challenge the young guns for the medals.
