FLORIAN BRUNGRABER Three years after a paragliding accident led to incomplete paraplegia, Florian Brungraber made his local triathlon debut in Linz. A first World Triathlon Para Cup podium came in Aguilas in 2018 and was swiftly followed by silver in Eton Dorney, and it was finally the gold in October 2019 in Alanya, kick- starting a brilliant run of results to set the Austrian on the path to Tokyo, including bronze at the inaugural World Triathlon Para Series Leeds.
