15 Jul 2022 Elite Women Beaugrand finds full focus in Hamburg Cassandre Beaugrand was back on top of the WTCS Hamburg podium in mid-July after an outstanding trio of races saw her take the Super-Sprint World Championship title. After negotiating the qualifiers and repechages, 30 women lined up for the final day, the last ten cut from the start of the next race until just ten were left. The French star dominated all three races from the first strokes of the swim, but there were ten women still all together on the final bike push. Out of T2 it was Cathia Schar and Beth Potter with the lead, only for Beaugrand to find the extra gear and pull clear from the bell and win by 10 seconds from Potter, Laura Lindemann with bronze from Annika Koch and Marlene Gomez-Goggel. "I've been training so hard and just really wanted this one. The transitions saved me a bit, I'm really happy with that." Cassandre Beaugrand 27 contents
